A small business workshop was organized for Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) at Graham Park in Rochester city in the southern Minnesota region of the United States on January 8. Aspiring entrepreneurs in the BIPOC community, especially those who were business owners in their home countries but have found it difficult to carry it over after relocating because of barriers of language and policies, got the chance to learn more about starting their own businesses in the United States. Major topics covered at the workshop included marketing and finance. This workshop on January 8 is one in a series of six.
