FedEx Entrepreneur Fund has announced the names of 30 recipients of grants of US$10,000 each from among US small businesses owned by people who are veterans or have disabilities. All 30 recipients have less than 25 employees. A total of US$300,000 will be provided as grants to the shortlisted small business entrepreneurs by FedEx in collaboration with Hello Alice and Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) to enable them to grow and succeed. Out of the 12,500 applications received for the grants, 40% applicants were entrepreneurs with disabilities, and 57% were military-connected businesses. Furthermore, 62% of the applicants were woman-owned businesses.
