Phani Kiran joined Triterras in 2020 and currently serves as its Business Development Manager, where he is responsible for enhancing the company’s foothold in Medium to Large-sized corporate origination and structuring.
Phani Kiran has more than 10 years of experience across Trade and Structured Finance, Trade Credit Insurance, Treasury and Trade operations in Commodities Industry.
His experience spans across various commodity industries like Agri, Metals and Petroleum Products. He has also successfully administered various Mergers & Acquisitions in his previous employments.
Prior to Triterras, Phani Kran started his career as a banker at ICICI Bank Ltd, where he managed large corporate operations. He also handled Trade Finance and Central Treasury for a large commodities and supply chain entity which was based out of Dubai and Singapore.
Phani graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bangalore. He also holds professional certifications such as the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and the Certification In Trade Finance (CITF) by the London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF).
