The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed on February 18 between India and the UAE would boost exports of agri-products, textiles, apparels, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, engineering goods, and jewelry, among other items from MSMEs across India. Revealing this, a delegation of Sharjah Airport International Free Zone officials who are currently visiting Indore city in Madhya Pradesh said the trade pact had slashed import duty on a majority of Indian exports to the UAE. Meanwhile, the delegation from the UAE held a meeting with officials from the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM) to explore more business opportunities and trade avenues.
