Small and Medium Enterprise Bank of Cambodia Plc (SME Bank) will provide loans at a low-interest rate of 5.5% to 20 female business owners who are members of the Women’s Farm Association. These loans have very flexible conditions and are being given to facilitate the revival of their handicraft and agricultural enterprises from the adverse impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. These loans are categorized under the SME Co-Financing Scheme (SCFS) for priority sectors identified by the government and consist of US$340 million. Besides providing loans to women entrepreneurs, SME Bank also strives to study and understand the business problems faced by them.
