Assistant Accountant (1 Year Contract)

Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately processing all invoices relating to the Company(s) and ensuring that invoices are properly approved, correctly coded and promptly recorded in the accounting system
- Handle full set of books on subsidiary books including managing the audit, tax, secretarial and all banking matters
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation and submission of GST
- Process staff claims
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statement and Balance Sheet schedules
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Experience Level
- Diploma or degree in Accountancy from a reputable institution
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably from an established Company
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Effective time management and workload planning a pre-requisite
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical mind and a good team player
